1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using keywordintent.io (the "Site") or any tools or services offered on it (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, free users, and paid subscribers. Where there is a conflict between these Terms and any other document on this Site, these Terms take precedence unless stated otherwise.

KeywordIntent ("we", "us", "our") reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Paid subscribers will be notified by email of any material changes at least 30 days in advance.

2. Description of Services

2.1 Free Tools

KeywordIntent provides a free keyword research tool that uses the Google Ads Keyword Planner API to generate keyword ideas, search volume data, competition metrics, and related data. Free tools are supported by advertising (see Section 8). Use of free tools does not require registration.

2.2 Paid Premium Tools

We offer premium paid tools including, but not limited to, the KGR Tool and Reddit Topic Hunter. Access to paid tools requires a valid, active paid subscription. Paid tools are accessible only to logged-in subscribers.

2.3 No Guarantee of Results

All data provided by our tools (search volumes, competition scores, CPC estimates, keyword difficulty estimates) is sourced from third-party APIs and is provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantee that this data is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific business decision. SEO results depend on many factors outside our control.

3. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

By using the Services, you agree not to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or any other automated means to access or extract data from our Site or tools. Our tools rely on rate-limited third-party APIs; automated abuse damages the service for all users and may result in immediate account termination without refund.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of our Services.
• Share, resell, or redistribute access to paid tools. Each subscription is for a single user's personal or business use. Account sharing is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate suspension without refund.
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
• Click on advertisements served on our Site artificially or encourage others to do so. Fraudulent interaction with ads violates Google AdSense policies and is grounds for termination.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including but not limited to the tool interfaces, source code, design, branding, written content, and the KeywordIntent name and logo — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for your own personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of our Services without our prior written consent.

Keyword data returned by our tools is sourced from Google Ads API and is subject to Google's own terms of service. You may use this data for your own SEO and marketing research but may not resell or redistribute it as a data product.

5. Paid Subscriptions — Billing and Cancellation

5.1 Subscription and auto-renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at checkout). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate until cancelled. You authorise our payment processor to charge your payment method on each renewal date.

5.2 Price changes

We may change subscription prices. If we do, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the renewal date.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the customer portal provided by our payment processor, or by emailing us at support@keywordintent.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid tools until the end of the period you have already paid for. No partial refunds are issued for mid-period cancellations unless covered by our Refund Policy (see Section 6).

5.4 Failed payments

If a payment fails, your access to paid tools may be suspended. We will notify you by email. If payment is not resolved within a reasonable period, your subscription may be terminated.

5.5 Taxes

Prices displayed on our Site may be exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax). Applicable taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout and are collected and remitted by our Merchant of Record on our behalf.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with a paid tool within 30 days of your initial purchase date, you may request a full refund by emailing support@keywordintent.io with your order email address and a brief reason.

Fair use clause: The 30-day guarantee applies to your initial subscription only. Refund requests may be declined if there is evidence of significant usage of the paid tool (for example, more than 50 API-backed searches), as this indicates the tool has provided value and the refund would be an abuse of the policy.

The 30-day window does not restart on subscription renewals. If you wish to cancel a renewal, do so at least 48 hours before the renewal date via the customer portal or by emailing us.

Outside the 30-day window, we may issue refunds at our discretion in cases of: (a) duplicate charges; (b) billing after cancellation; or (c) where required by applicable consumer law.

Our payment processor (Paddle / Lemon Squeezy) also reserves the right to issue refunds within 60 days of a transaction to prevent chargebacks, regardless of this policy.

7. Payment Processing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Where Lemon Squeezy is used as the payment processor, Lemon Squeezy LLC acts as the Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy is responsible for handling all payments, collecting sales tax, processing refunds, and ensuring PCI compliance.

By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to the terms and conditions of our payment processor. We do not store or process your payment card details at any point; all payment data is handled directly by the Merchant of Record.

8. Advertising (Free Tier)

The free version of KeywordIntent is supported by advertising revenue through Google AdSense. By using the free tools, you acknowledge and accept that advertisements will be displayed on the Site. We do not control the content of individual advertisements served by Google. For information on how Google uses your data in connection with advertising, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Services is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KeywordIntent and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KeywordIntent and its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to paid tools immediately and without refund if you violate these Terms, including but not limited to: unauthorised account sharing, automated scraping, or fraudulent ad clicking. We will attempt to notify you by email where reasonable to do so, but are not obligated to provide advance notice in cases of serious violation.

You may also terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and ceasing use of the Site.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may apply in addition to the above.

14. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights freely.
