2.1 Information you provide directly

• Free tool users: We do not require account registration. If you use our free keyword research tools, we do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information.
• Paid subscribers: When you purchase a paid subscription (KGR Tool, Reddit Topic Hunter), you provide your email address on our checkout page. Payment details (credit/debit card information) are collected and processed exclusively by our payment processor — we never see or store your card number.
• Contact / support: If you email us, we collect the information you include in that message (your email address and the content of your query).

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit our Site, we and our third-party partners automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected through server logs and cookies (see Section 4).

4.1 Essential cookies

5. Advertising on KeywordIntent

The free version of KeywordIntent is supported by advertising revenue. Ads displayed on the Site are served by Google AdSense. We do not control the specific advertisements displayed; Google determines which ads to show based on the cookies and data described in Section 4.3 above. We do not share your personally identifying information with advertisers.

Paid subscribers using our premium tools do not see AdSense advertisements while logged in.

6. Payment Processing (Paid Subscriptions)

For paid subscriptions, all payment processing is handled by our third-party Merchant of Record, Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Ltd, registered in England and Wales) or Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC). The Merchant of Record acts as the legal seller on all transactions and is responsible for collecting payment, issuing invoices, handling sales tax / VAT, and processing refunds.

We do not collect, store, or process your credit or debit card details at any point. All payment data is entered directly into and handled by Paddle / Lemon Squeezy's secure, PCI-DSS-compliant checkout.

When you make a purchase, Paddle / Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing address, and payment details for the purpose of completing your transaction. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies:

After your purchase is completed, the Merchant of Record shares your email address and order details with us solely for the purpose of activating and managing your subscription. We do not use this information for marketing unless you have separately opted in.

7. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Third parties that help us operate the Site (hosting, analytics, customer support). They are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
• Payment processor: Paddle / Lemon Squeezy (see Section 6).
• Advertising networks: Google AdSense (see Section 4.3). Only technical data is shared; no personally identifying information from your account is shared with Google for advertising purposes.
• Legal requirements: If required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of KeywordIntent, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets, your information may be transferred. We will provide notice before this happens.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Subscription-related data (your email, purchase history) is retained for the duration of your subscription plus a reasonable period thereafter for legal and accounting purposes (typically 7 years). Server log data is typically deleted or anonymised within 90 days.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
